DESCRIPTION:Program Objectives: \nBy the end of this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand the key concepts of gender-sensitive monitoring and evaluation (M&E).\nDesign M&E frameworks that integrate gender indicators and outcomes.\nCollect\, analyze\, and report gender-disaggregated data effectively.\nApply participatory and feminist M&E methods.\nUse findings to improve program design\, accountability\, and impact on gender equity.\n\n  \nTarget Audience: \n\nProgram and project managers in NGOs\, government\, or international agencies.\nGender specialists and M&E officers.\nResearchers and policy analysts.\nStaff involved in gender equality and social inclusion projects.\n\n  \nProgram Outline : \n  \n Day 1: Foundations of Gender-Sensitive M&E \n\nIntroduction to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): definitions\, purpose\, and scope.\nKey gender concepts: equity\, empowerment\, intersectionality.\nWhy gender matters in M&E: common gaps and biases.\nGender-sensitive Theory of Change and logical frameworks (logframes).\nCase studies: gender-blind vs. gender-aware evaluation.\n\n Day 2: Designing Gender-Responsive M&E Systems \n\nSetting SMART gender indicators (quantitative and qualitative).\nBaselines\, targets\, and benchmarks in gender programs.\nTools and methods for collecting gender-disaggregated data.\nIntegrating gender into evaluation questions and terms of reference.\nParticipatory and feminist evaluation approaches.\n\n Day 3: Data Analysis\, Reporting\, and Utilization \n\nAnalyzing and interpreting gender data.\nEnsuring gender-sensitive reporting (language\, presentation\, inclusiveness).\nCommunicating findings to diverse stakeholders (policy briefs\, dashboards\, etc.).\nUsing M&E results for learning\, decision-making\, and advocacy.\nGroup exercise: developing a gender-responsive M&E plan.\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \nProgram Methodology: \nOur programs are grounded in modern pedagogical principles that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application\, ensuring alignment with trainees’ needs and the evolving demands of the professional environment. \nTraining methodologies include: \n\nInteractive Workshops: Based on real-life data analysis and group discussions to reinforce applied understanding.\nCase Studies: Featuring models from international institutions that highlight real success stories and challenges.\nRealistic Simulations: Participants engage in professional scenarios that mirror actual situations requiring decision-making and situational management.\nUse of Advanced Tools and Technologies: Hands-on application of modern training software and tools tailored to the specific nature of each field.\n\nCertification \nUpon successful completion of the program\, participants will receive a European-accredited certificate issued by CINPAA – Cooperative International for Training and Consulting\, an officially registered and accredited training institute in the European Union\, Spain\, and the United Kingdom.
